I am a 67 year old man who has suffered with diabetes and high blood pressure for years. I have also been very overweight. I always dismissed the suggestion of a personal trainer as a waste of time and money. I could not see the benefit of someone telling me what to do in the gym when I could do it on my own.

When I began with Coach Ramo I was 119.5kilos. After 12 weeks I was 109kilos and now a further two weeks on I am down to 107.5 kilos. Not only that, my latest blood test result put me in the category of pre-diabetic! I have energy, going for walks is a pleasure instead of a pain, and I have even bought a bike. When we started I couldn’t do one push up, now I can do 18. I am lifting weights that I never thought I would and I even took part in a 5k run. I am now on my second 12 week session with Coach Ramo and am well on the way to weighing under 100 kilos and having normal blood sugar levels.
Ramo takes time to get to know your strengths and weaknesses and prepares a program that is long term and sustainable. He explains everything which is so helpful. He pushes you a little further than you think you can go but also knows when to stop. He is an expert at nutrition as well as cardio and strength training. And he cares. 12 weeks with Coach Ramo has changed my life and quite possibly saved my life. I cannot recommend him enough.
