  • Ball Handling: Players can throw, pass, and catch the ball using any part of their body but cannot hold it for more than 2 seconds (or 3 seconds for kids under 8 years old).

Special Rules

  • Self-Pass/Auto-Pass:
  • Allowed Once: Each player is allowed one self-pass every time they receive the ball.
  • Conditions: The ball must not be in contact with the player’s body during a self-pass.
  • Impact on Time: A self-pass resets the player’s holding time to an additional 2 seconds of ball possession.

Ball Possession (BP) Interruptions

Ball possession is interrupted (the ball becomes “dead”) in the following scenarios:

  1. Holding Violation: The ball is held longer than 2 seconds.
  2. Ground Contact: The ball touches the ground.
  3. Out of Bounds: The ball leaves the court.
  4. Interception: The ball is intercepted by an opposing player and then smashed on the ground.
  5. Referee’s Decision: The game is stopped by a referee due to a foul.

Key Values and Skills

  • Physical Development: The sport enhances strength, endurance, core stability, agility, and explosiveness.
  • Core Values: Emphasizes fairness, team-building, gender equality, inclusion, perseverance, and respect.
  • Team Dynamics: Focuses on improving team spirit, self-confidence, and character.

These rules and the focus on continuous movement and passing make FXC a high-energy, strategic sport that promotes both physical fitness and team collaboration.
